Cole Elementary students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month this morning by participating in a school assembly! A special thanks to Grecia Rodríguez, José Nieto, and many Cole staff and students joined together to make this day possible!

Cole’s Fall Festival Family Picnic was a total success last Saturday! Many thanks to all the families, staff, Cole PTO and musical guests Jesse Isley, Sara Reyes and Amy Reyes for helping to make this day extra special!

Cole Elementary welcomed Mr. Daniel Burnell today as our Principal for the Day in collaboration with MNPS and the PENCIL Foundation! Mr. Burnell is a Cole community partner with Brentwood Hills Church of Christ.

Cole Elementary functions as a collaborative community! Our school sewing club (led by Mrs. Verner) sewed badges on our Girl Scouts cohort’s vests (led by Ms. Jenkins)! Go, Team!

Cole Elementary fifth graders got to check out Antioch Middle School today! Many thanks to the school counselors, social workers, administrators, faculty and staff to joined together to make this important experience possible! Go, Team!

Let’s celebrate! Cole Elementary has an 8.3% chronic absenteeism standing right now! This is due to the amazing teamwork among Cole families, the Attendance Team, teachers and the PTO working together to encourage good attendance!

Cole’s PTO is rocking our school store during lunchtime today! The store will be open again on Friday, December 13th.

Cole Elementary strives to access the deep funds of knowledge our students and their families bring to our school. One of Mrs. Blackburn’s pre-k students’ mom came to talk about her job at Crumbl Cookies for their bread study…and brought cookies for Cole staff!

Our Cole school community is thriving! Today, we enjoyed coffee and pastries provided by community partner Antioch Church of Christ, listened to Mr. Hedgepath answer parents’ questions about Cole, and cheerfully helped unload an entire pallet of food into the FRC! Go, Team!
