Yesterday, former St. Louis, MO Police officer Rich Banahan, who has over 50 years of public safety experience, provided mental health for first responders training to our Capitol Police team. Concern for officer health and wellness is essential at MCP!

Saluting K-9 Leon, who joined Capitol Police two years ago today. He and K-9 Officer Carly Stark were certified and officially our 2nd MCP K-9 team at the end of October 2023 (joining K-9 Officer Adam Hoskins and K-9 Burbon). Leon is trained in Explosive Detection and Search.
