Please be aware of a new scam that is offering the chance to purchase 6 months of travel for £2. This is not an official #BeeNetwork/TfGM promotion and should be ignored and where possible, reported to the relevant social media platform.

A smart bus and a smart crew! In 1948 this #Salford bus went to a British trade fair in Copenhagen, where apparently the Danes loved riding on a double decker bus. It's this week's #ThrowbackThursday pic from our archive.

Finding something for the kids to do in the Easter holidays is always difficult - we're open Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays and kids love going on our buses and seeing the bus that gran went to school on. And on Sunday (20th) we'll even have free bus rides.

We love #ThrowbackThursday! This week it takes us to Ashton bus station in the early 1980s, watching the 409 set off to Rochdale. Do you remember brown, orange and white buses?

#OnThisDay in 1844, a new railway station was opened at Hunt's Bank, Manchester - it's now Victoria. This shot of an engine on the 'wall side' is this week's #ThrowbackThursday pic.

Visiting us by public transport is easy - Metrolink stops close by, and #BeeNetwork bus 135 runs almost past our door. Planning your journey couldn't be easier, with the journey planner at buff.ly/15GKsdl - so leave the car at home and go to see buses, by bus!

We bring you #SaturdayShowoff to showcase our collection and tempt you to visit. This week it's... well, we're not saying! It's a bus that you'll see soon enough. But it's having new seat material fitted, you can see that one hasn't been changed yet and the difference is clear.
