JSS president, addressed that this is the best time to help the drought-affected people, mostly pastoralists The therefor ministry MOLFR is calling upon for the protection of pastoralists and their livestock. Urgent needs are: 1. fodder 2.mass treatment 3.Water trucking

MOLFR have completed 15 days of livestock treatment, the targed was vulnerable pastoralists such as aged, disabilities and women. The treatment was conducted by MOLFR with the support of FAO. Due to current demands and the rains have started,mass livestock treatment is needed.

MOLFR-JSS  distributed 10 processing  machines to livestock cooperatives in kismayo district on 25 December 2021 With support of FAO in Somalia and implemented by HOD Jubaland State House FAO Livestock
