Congrats! So proud of Katherine and Ethan and all our medical students. Very honored to be part of a department that emphasizes medical education and integrating radonc into UME and to work with the best PD Kiran A. Kumar, MD, MBA ! UTSW Radiation Oncology

Strong work done by our amazing students, Gabrielle Gard and Cole Ferguson and our incoming resident, Geina Iskander, MD ! Thanks Mary Mahoney MD for sharing the pictures and so sad that I missed ROECSG (Rad Onc Education Collab Study Group)

I’m deeply honored for this award. UTSW Radiation Oncology residents have taught me more than I’ve taught them. Their dedication, hard work and interest in education continually inspire me to grow. Also, thanks to the best colleague and PD Kiran A. Kumar, MD, MBA for all his support!

Congratulations to current PGY-4 medical resident, Dr. Brett Tortelli, who was awarded the ACRO - American College of Radiation Oncology GROW (Global Radiation Oncology Workforce) Scholarship last month. The ACRO GROW Scholarship will support an in-country research and clinical rotation in Gaborone, Botswana.
