Our new article in @socscimed highlights how #nurses' #moraldistress is embedded in institutional constraints, and the telling of counter-stories act as narrative resources for resistance by assigning meaning and value to their care work. Link below!👇 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

The phrasing of this headline puts the onus of our crumbling healthcare system onto nurses, as if their wages weren't suppressed, they weren't working in deplorable conditions, and they weren't always dealing with zero support from our government. Nurses deserve better.

Happy New Year! Our newest publication explores how family physicians working with patients experiencing social inequities engage in proximity to their patients - often in resistance to the current structuring of primary care in Ontario. Check it out!👇 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

🔥HOT OFF THE PRESS!🔥 We build on Arthur Frank's notion of "narrative repair" to highlight how pediatric oncology nurses engage in narrative repair for families with pediatric cancer, and for their own moral identities. I'm really proud of this paper. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/13…
