Year 7 Girls' Basketball: The girls took part in the Blackpool Schools Tournament at Stanley Park last night. They played brilliantly and finished second to St Mary's. Some great individual performances with some great attacking and defensive play. 🏀🏀🏀

Year 8: The "Think like a Linguist" group had their graduation event at Queens College, Oxford yesterday. Long way but well worth it....congratulations👏🎓

Year 7: Cricket winners: A great morning for the Y7s who were brilliant in beating both Armfield and St Mary’s. This gives them the chance to represent Blackpool in the Lancashire Finals in a couple of weeks time. 🏏🏏

Year 7: Had an amazing day yesterday at the Blackpool schools' athletics Super 8's competition at Stanley Park. The weather was incredibly warm, especially to be performing at the levels our year 7's did! Lots of individual success and the team won overall by 2 points 👏👏

Science: Eleven students in Year 11 had an overnight visit to Cambridge on a Physics visit earlier this week. . They got a tour and participated in various workshops at the University including National Space Academy, Domino Printing company, Espire education and much more..."

Football: The Y11 football team played in their last ever North Blackpool Schools tournament on Tuesday against Aspire, Unity and St Mary’s. They won all 3 games and progressed to play the winners of Blackpool South. ⚽️⚽️👏

Football: The year 10 boys won the Blackpool North Schools Tournament last night which sees them advance to the Blackpool Finals. 👏⚽️ 0-0 V St Mary’s 4-0 V Unity 4-0 V Aspire

Chess: The last few weeks of the summer term, the preliminary rounds of the Chess Club's tournament took place. Over summer, the students who remained in the competition honed their skills, until it came down to Lewis and Noah of year 11. A hard fought 2-1 saw Noah the victor! ♟️

Year 9 Blackpool Schools Football Tournament: The Year 9 boys kept up our winning streak in this tournament this year after the Y11 and Y10 success over the previous weeks. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Year 10 Football: The year 10 boys won their round 2 English Schools FA match last night with a 1-0 win over Deyes, Sefton. We wish the boys well as they travel to All Hallows in the Lancashire Cup tomorrow.

Year 7 Football: Despite strong winds & heavy rain our year 7 team won 6-1 against Dowdales from Cumbria. With a pre-agreement to cut the game short if either side is dominating, the ref called an end to the game once Monty got to 6. Well done, boys!!

Year 10 Football: Another victory for the Y10’s today who won 4-3 in Preston against All Hallows on a shocking afternoon! Well done ⚽️⚽️

Year 9 Football: On Friday the Y9 football team played their Lancashire Cup 1st round match against St Bedes, Ormskirk. After a very slow start, (conceding a goal in the first minute) the team pulled together and came out 7-3 winners. ⚽️⚽️
