Derwent Gorge is looking very green through dappled sunlight. Many plants are flowering in the glade which we made earlier this year, which is great to see! Peacock and speckled wood butterflies were also spotted enjoying the extra light.

An abundance of orchids are in flower around Low Force right now. A great time to see the diversity of flowering plants by the riverside.

Please take your rubbish home with you, and remind other people to do the same. In this good weather we have had to remove a huge amounts of rubbish from Low Force and Bowlees which has been very disappointing. This is the amount we collected from just one sunny day.
