I heard there was some excitement going on today in #VA06, so I figured it would be a good day to join everyone on twitter!

For those who haven't met me yet- I was twice elected as a member of the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors- in a very Republican leaning district! I know how to run and win here in the 6th district and turn our district blue for the first time since 1992!

T-minus two hours until the 6th Congressional District Republicans begin their convention at JMU. I’ll be there all day tweeting as many updates and interesting tidbits as I can if you care to follow along. #VA06

Republicans in #VA06 are dragging out even counting ballots so voters will leave their convention and LESS people can decide their candidate. Democrats are having a primary in 25 days so MORE people can pick our candidate. Why are they scared of participation?

They need a big group hug after they could only get 4,000 people out combined to vote today in what is supposed to be a "safe" seat. Watch how much we exceed that vote by next month- this seat was blue before Goodlatte and will be blue after him! x.com/gmoomaw/status…
