Look at our trees at the OPJ Tree Nursery! They look amazing. Fantastic work 👏💚

This Italian Cypress in Locksbrook Cemetery has outgrown it’s strimmer guard 🌱🌲💪🎉. Now vulnerable to strimmers so we’ve mulched it to suppress grass. Drooping branches are caused by overwatering (welcome to UK!), & overfertilisation - guess the ground is rich in nutrients!

Liberated these trees from their plastic guards at Archery Field, Weston. It’s always so satisfying seeing them outgrow their guards, and of course to get plastic out of the environment. We’re pleased to see the huge growth in use of biodegradable guards since these were planted.
