Castle Acre Priory in Norfolk is East Anglia’s biggest and best-preserved monastic ruins. ⛪ It was founded in the late 11th century, before being dissolved by Henry VIII in 1537, while the priory's lodgings were retained for use as a house well into the 17th century.
