It was my dream to create a robust institution. This Thursday on #TutegeereOmupiira, we are discussing a robust institution of FUFA that we have created.

Football is very delicate and if not handled very well and carefully, the standards can easily drop, but getting them back to those heights might take ages. #TutegeereOmupiira

In 2013, FUFA was still a very weak institution, very lean and understaffed without proper job description. There were lots of internal wars, 2 leagues being played, lack of government support, lacked public confidence, accountability was the story, weak membership, poor

There has been a lot of sacrifice and hardwork to get FUFA where it is today. As we speak there is so much that is going on that the institution we had in 2013 could not handle. #TutegeereOmupiira

Any one selling that crap that someone or some entity should donate money in billions to run the business of football is the worst enemy of club football. Club football is a private activity just like private schools. Despite the value of education to the masses, no individual

It is really unfortunate that Cedric Babu, who was President of the Uganda Tennis Federation one of the Sports affiliated to National Council of Sports -Uganda passed on. The sports industry has lost a strong pillar, and we lose him at a time and age when we could have vastly gained from his knowledge

What makes awards is the talkability and world over are subjective. People will always have an opinion and their favorites. The most important thing is that FUFA and MTN Uganda continue to award players and these have performed nowhere else but on the pitch.

I want to thank MTN Uganda for making this possible and ensuring that we have this spectacle. Personally, I enjoyed the moment and wish to congratulate all the winners. These awards come with a technical input and an element of voting.

These awards were 100% managed by MTN Uganda, and we had almost 100,000 votes. I want to thank MTN for doing a great job. If you have issues, those are your issues. Let us celebrate and congratulate our winners and hopefully they can come back to the pitch and entertain us.
