We have enjoyed celebrating VE Day today in Nursery! We have made poppies, danced to songs from WW2 and enjoyed looking at pictures of people who served in the forces for our country. 🇬🇧

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic time learning to skip with Dave from Skip2Bfit !

The children enjoyed a lovely VE Day lunch and had fun singing different songs from the past to commemorate the day. 🇬🇧

Our Reception children had a very exciting day with a visit from Dave! They took part in an exciting warm up, discussed the importance of perseverance and worked hard to develop their skipping skills. Skip2Bfit

Miss Tarry’s class enjoyed an indoor street party to celebrate VE Day! The children loved listening to music from the 1940s during their special lunch, sang some traditional British songs and took part in a two minute silence 🇬🇧8️⃣0️⃣🇬🇧

We have had a very exciting week in Nursery! We have explored our dinosaur swamp and made our volcano erupt so the lava flows down. Linked to our core text Gigantosaurus. 🦖🦕Leger Education Trust
