Delighted to have Professor Sarah Wolfensohn OBE of University of Surrey speaking to students about animal welfare and the ethics of animal testing for research. A real highlight for our 50-strong Sixth Form Medical Society.
Our Year 12 team had a fantastic time at the launch event for the Grocers' Hall Academy Awards. They particularly enjoyed the networking aspect and beginning to think about the product they will create for the competition.
Thank you to Clare College for kicking off our university preparation programme with a talk to some Year 12 students about applying to Cambridge University and other top universities.
Our wonderful sixth formers are on the gate this morning taking donations for @HackneyFoodbank.
Inaya and Tacita dropped off 236kg of food to @HackneyFoodbank this week on behalf of the Sixth Form and Mossbourne Community. A huge well done to our Senior Students for coordinating the food collection so brilliantly.
Year 12 student, Pearl, was phenomenal during her performance with the Senior Band Mossbourne Community at the Christmas assembly.
Year 12 English students visited Almeida Theatre this week to watch ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ and develop their understanding of the work of Tennessee Williams.
We are incredibly proud of Jedidiah and Red who spoke at City Hall for Holocaust Remembrance Day alongside other incredibly moving speakers and Sadiq Khan. Chosen from thousands of students, they spoke articulately about their experience visiting Auschwitz.

Our Black Scholars had a great day visiting Cambridge University Library Fitzwilliam College and Cambridge University today. They found out about the college system, the style of teaching and what admissions tutors are looking for.
We were delighted to welcome back Mossbourne and Cambridge University alumnus, Keji Neri, to speak to students about his experience studying at Cambridge and his impressive career as a Mathematician.
