We need this conversation in all 4 parts of the UK Wes Streeting Karin Smyth I have lost my career trying to highlight the patient safety risks of sexual predators in the NHS. NHSE and poor regulation are part of the problem.
A really inspiring and empowering day today. Good to be with others who understand the need to speak up and challenge. “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you”. Dr Rachel Clarke Doctors’ Association UK

Today I am giving a statement for an NMC investigation that was referred in 2017. In a case involving a sexual predator. It was closed at screening then reopened. Further harm occurred. The Nursing and Midwifery Council have so much more to do to protect the public and registrants
Always right behind Michelle Russell - she is the subject of a terrible injustice that has led to loss of a very highly educated, experienced, and lovely nurse.

NMC review: senior lawyer departs causing fresh delays | RCNi Shruti Sheth Trivedi I think this is factually incorrect. My understanding is Ijeoma Omambala did not “step down”. She asked for a brief submission delay Nursing and Midwifery Council Rebecca Thomas rcni.com/nursing-standa…
Gareth Williams. Francis Harris My son Callum had an incredible school nurse Michelle Russell. Highly qualified, empathic, supportive - & sexually assaulted by a male colleague who'd also preyed on parents. Michelle whistle blew. Guess who lost their career whilst the other continues nursing vulnerable children?
We’re still looking for more UK #healthcare workers, clinical & non-clinical to share their daily speaking up experiences. More information and participation: tinyurl.com/37v26c35 Massive thanks to everyone🙏 Daryl O’Connor Chris Keyworth Judith Johnson

If Nursing and Midwifery Council hadn’t wasted so much of registrants money aborting Ijeoma Omambala KC investigation and more money commissioning a new coverup version there may be ensured sustainable position. Not to mention outsourcing FTP cases to expensive law firms. Cue registration fee hike
