Bonjour! At Mount Primary, we love learning French! This half term, we have been revisiting numbers and the days of the week, as well as learning the months of the year. We have also been reading and understanding questions and phrases and learning the alphabet.

This morning, we were visited by Hayley and John Bear from Wirral St John’s Hospice to introduce this year’s festive Rudolph Run. We will take part on Friday 15th December and we would love to raise money for this worthwhile cause. justgiving.com/page/mountprim…

Back in November, Mrs Lea and our wonderful school council planned a whole school competition to design a gingerbread boy or girl. Today, we got into the Christmas spirit and produced some really creative designs. Well done year 5!

F2 had a great time when the Year 6 reading buddies came to visit us. We will be having regular reading buddy sessions this term to share some fantastic books and develop our reading skills.

We celebrated Internet Safety Day which focused on the theme 'Change Online'. We discussed how to keep safe online, how technology has changed and is going to continue to change over time as well as understanding the meaning of AI, how it works and how to stay safe.
