Check out our latest work profiling brain transcriptomics of Nasa-Hakola disease individuals with DAP12-deficiency in Nature Immunology by Yingyue Zhou. Microglia from these individuals exhibited a signature with heightened STAT3, RUNX1 and TGFb pathways. nature.com/articles/s4159…

Zo trots! European Research Council (ERC) press.vub.ac.be/veelbelovende-…

Started off almost 4 years ago in the Soyon Hong lab ordering pipettes and a centrifuge, now happy to present the lab's first paper! We found that in early AD models, perivascular cells signal to microglia and instruct elimination of synapses nature.com/articles/s4159…

The choroid plexus is one remarkable epithelium. Nice work Kahle Laboratory post-doc Steph Robert and the team on this effort. Now time to translate these findings! MGH Neurosurgery Boston Children's Broad Institute @MGH_RI sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Delighted to finally share our manuscript! Thank you to our co-authors The Kierdorf Lab @LabSchlitzer @realFlorentGinhoux PieterVdB_LENS Gianluca Matteoli and to FWO European Research Council (ERC) for the funding. TARGID KU LEUVEN @nature #gut #macrophages nature.com/articles/s4158…

So happy to see my first postdoctoral work now published Nature Communications. We devised a new approach integrating single cell spatial transcriptomics by #MERFISH with electron microscopy imaging, and used it to probe cellular responses to demyelination nature.com/articles/s4146…

Our Mol. Cell Biology and Immunology Lab department is #hiring 3 #PhD students to study the lung cancer tumor microenvironment in the context of a EU Horizon Mission cancer consortium. Immunometabolism, glycobiology (Yvette van Kooyk), T cell function (Febe van Maldegem),... pick your favorite and apply ⬇️

Our symposium on cerebrospinal fluid dynamics is happening today 27th June at #FENS2024 Hall H 15:45-17:15 with Lehtinen Lab Lundgaard Lab Movahedi Lab. Please come and contribute to the discussions on the multifaceted roles of #CSF
