Our annual ‘sport science meets school’ project was successfully completed by our M.Ed. students and 9th graders from Hopsten. They conducted sport #scientific #research on the standing long jump and whether the arms create helpful #momentum. A great experience for both parties!

The Tech-Werkstatt Leistungssport was a great success! Scientists & enthusiasts from across Germany exchanged ideas with industry partners. A tech exhibition showcased innovations, while talks, panels & workshops explored new tech applications in competitive sports. #TechSport

During our annual #GirlsDay, we presented the work sector #movementscience to girls interested in this field. By participating in small #experiments and learning about their #scientific foundations, the girls got an exciting insight into #sportscience in the #OpenLab.

We welcomed students from Kopernikus Gymnasium (Rheine) and their Finnish partner school “Sotunkin Lukio” as part of an ERASMUS+ project. In our movement lab, they explored balance and motion experiments using force plates and motion capture - true to the motto: “Sport connects.”
