5/7 Sanctions are working — but they are too soft. russia is surviving by dodging sanctions through third countries. It’s high time to tighten enforcement, target loopholes, and cut off energy revenues once and for all

6/7 russia’s central bank chief, Nabiullina, is competent — but she’s managing a crisis, not a recovery. This war is economically unsustainable for russia. We shouldn’t be helping it limp along
