Kicking Cricket! One of my 5th graders moved to MN from India and asked if we could play his favorite sport in PE. We worked together over the last month to come up with a game that would teach his class about cricket. It went better than expected and he was so proud! #ProudPE

This week we are trying Spin the Pin Tag (⁦Mike Morris⁩). Asked Ss for feedback on it afterward and it was overwhelmingly positive and even had some new variation ideas suggested 🤔Then we moved on to Add a Pin #Bowling. Both are new to me but have been great! #ElemPE

Our second Signs of Spring Outdoor Club meeting was a rainy one this morning. We embraced it and learned a ton about how rainfall impacts the wildlife around us. Thankful for Dakota County and their naturalists for getting Westview students pumped about the outdoors!

Made it a goal of mine to utilize the beautiful nature center right behind my new school this year. Today we did a nature scavenger hunt with some exercising thrown in too. My favorite day of the school year so far! 5th graders even came by to help out our 1st graders. #PERocks
