It is possible to both professionally love kids, show them you care & for them to be really happy & simultaneously have firm boundaries of what is/is not permissible.

The best pens to use under the visualiser, in my opinion, are papermate flair pens They're bold & make writing clear. The ink is vibrant & doesn’t fade, the text is highly visible on screen There's no glare, they glide easily on paper, allowing for quick writing during the lesson

Adolescence has to be one of the hardest hitting programmes I think I’ve ever seen. What powerful messages about the unfiltered access kids have to the internet, social media & mobiles.

Last Monday I attended a DFE attendance conference. Reading back through my notes and one fact really stands out. 3/5 of Students who are absent in the first week of term will be PA by the end of the academic year. First week counts!
