Finally Online 🙃 Together with my colleagues from the Fürstner group we today report some new advances for alkyne metathesis. The work also includes some 95Mo #NMR studies and great insights from DFT-based chemical shift tensor analysis by Copéret Group / @coperetgroup.bsky.social pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…


Another chapter in the recent work on Alkyne metathesis together with the #FürstnerLab and Copéret Group / @coperetgroup.bsky.social. This time we managed to use the cinderella nucleus 183W to guide our studies.

This is a very impressive NMR setup - I was a postdoc at MRRC Cambridge back when the whole setup was installed and it’s nice to see where it end up - I recommend reading the paper 😀
