When Year 5 left school on Friday afternoon, 1 butterfly had completed its metamorphosis. This morning we counted 21! We will feed them for a day or 2 and then release them into the wild. Hazel Community Primary School Mrs Maxwell


Year 5 Hazel Community Primary School always enjoy creating visual notes in their art lessons with facts about the artist we are studying and examples of their work. kittiejones and her amazing nature and animal inspired artwork really inspired our class today.


This morning, we have released our butterflies! The children enjoyed carefully handling some of the butterflies that needed help, and said goodbye before they flew away. Hazel Community Primary School 🦋

Celebrating Bastille Day (June 30th is our July 14th) Hazel Community Primary School as part of our international learning. The game of petanque was first up for year 5. They really enjoyed learning the rules and then competing. Mme Chettle Cully HCPS

Year 5 Hazel Community Primary School are full of concentration this morning and showing great independence and enthusiasm.They have been looking at the features of letters and now they are putting these into their own letters to their new year 6 teachers.
