One of my favourite BF ranges. A great team; fun, exciting stories, the indefatigable Angela Bruce, pure 90s nostalgia and the cinematic Borna Matosic music. A delight in the ears. Robert Valentine

Bring enchanted, it was the only place in the Forest where you could sit down carelessly, without getting up again almost at once and looking for somewhere else. Sitting there they could see the whole world spread out until it reached the sky. ~A.A.Milne

I had such a lovely time reading the role of Charley Pollard in The Stuff of Legend for Big Finish Insider Day. It was so special and I never imagined I would ever do something like this. It meant a lot and I welled up at the realisation of it afterwards. I was so excited about it.

Definitely not talking about anything specific here 😉 but I think that if you use generative AI to steal others' work and then have a public hissy fit when the victims of your theft don't respond, then you should seriously re-evaluate your life decisions and what's led you here.

A smoot is a hole left in a drystone wall for rabbits or other small animals to get through. I see many on my walks but this one (from Ambleside) has to be the most elaborate. A cathedral among smoots!

I really enjoyed ‘The Stuff of Legend’ written by Robert Valentine Set in the Cornish village of Merrymaid Bay, rumours of dead men working in the tin mines have sent a chill through the community. It is up to the Doctor and Charley to get to the bottom of the mystery.

It’d be fabulous to fill the Cockpit Theatre this week: I’m there in the play Cock by Mike Bartlett (yes, Cock at the Cockpit!) so do pop along if you can. It’s a terrific, funny, challenging play that rattles along. We’ve had a raft of good reviews too: thecockpit.org.uk/show/cock
