Correct. Also almost all clubs have run up debt due to operating costs or building new stadiums. United’s debt is due to a leveraged buy out by our owners which none of us wanted. Acting like United used that debt to buy players on the never never is just wrong

United’s debt is structured. Lyon couldn’t cover their basic running costs ie bills day to day stuff; that’s why they got done.
