A little rain did not deter my staff & I as we walked Carroll Park to hear constituent issues regarding trash, trees, safety and other concerns. Thank you to our city partners for joining us and thank you always 4th district neighbors for caring so deeply about our neighborhood.

The Dell and the Mann are proudly located in the 4th District but they are regional assets. Friday we toured both facilities with Council staff to see improvements in progress as well as to see where improvements need to happen. Look forward to a great summer in both venues!

Carroll Park is a gem of a neighborhood park. However, it's in need of some repairs. I was able to secure $200,000 for improvements and toured the park with the Friends group and Parks and Rec this morning to see where these improvements will be made.

If we only watch the news , our young people are portrayed as just problems…not true ! The facts are there are more graduations than court cases in Philadelphia and that our future leaders are in pipeline to ascend… We should have faith!
