Today 5D learned the difference between mean behavior, conflict, and bullying by reading and sorting scenarios into the right categories. We had a great discussion after where they shared what they learned & why being an upstander is so important! Central ES #WeekOfRespect2024

What a GREAT lesson today with Mrs. Gaffney! Students moved through 5 stations and discussed the definition of bullying, what it means to be an upstander, ways to prevent bullying from happening and much more! There is no place for bullying at Central ES Haddonfield Schools !

Day 1 of Central ES Wellness Week: Mindful Monday! Students really enjoyed their yoga sessions and learning more about the benefits of mindfulness 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

Day 2 of Central ES Wellness Week: Tasteful Tuesday! Students enjoyed a presentation about healthy & nutritious fruits & vegetables. They got to watch a smoothie making demo followed by a yummy tasting! 🍓🫐

Day 3 of Central ES Wellness Week: Workout Wednesday! Students got outside and enjoyed a nice walk with their class! Thanks again to all of my parent volunteers for joining🚶🌄

Day 4 of Central ES Wellness Week: Thoughtful Thursday! Recess was so much fun today! Students enjoyed creating thoughtful chalk messages and connected with their peers by playing "Get to Know You" Bingo! 🛝🌞

Day 5 and the FINAL day of Central ES Wellness Week: Freestyle Friday! Wow, what a week we have had!🤩Today, students got to choose between playing with therapy dogs, reading indoors, a dance party outside w/ Mrs. A, and bubble blowing! We had a BLAST! Can you tell?
