This thread has been a trip down memory lane. Being a NICU mama was a scary time, but our experience there was unexplainably good. So thankful for our journey and for the memories!

Curious question from my students and me: why does scientific notation use the “x” symbol for multiplication instead of the dot symbol? Does it HAVE to use the x? Would it ever use the dot?

The highlight of my day was seeing one of my students from my first year of teaching! I haven’t seen this young man in 13 years, and it was such a joy to see him and visit with him!! Sharing a classroom with teenagers is such an incredible and indescribable experience!!

A Desmos Classroom Polygraph activity will always be my favorite way to introduce a quadratic lesson! Picture 1 is my students’ questions BEFORE the lesson, and picture 2 is their questions AFTER the lesson! I love seeing how much learning took place!!

Hey everyone! Every year in my 6th grade math class, we end our statistics unit by creating a survey to send out into the world. They will use the data to create different data displays. We would love for you to take our survey! forms.gle/SYECqPmCzKjYSr…
