My first Black teacher (and only in NS) From DAY 1, a brave educator who was in my corner when I was being JUDGED (Black kid from NYC equals tough and uneducated) by other White teachers chatting negatively🤷🏾‍♀️. She was forever proud of me! Representation matters!
