Be careful when giving B6 for RLS symptoms as there can be toxicity. Keep the dose low and if already on a multi-vitamin remember the doses can add up and if too high you can give yourself a neuropathy. I showed this new study in treatment of RLS today Aspen Day 4. MDS

New randomized data showing a possible benefit for gabapentin for RLS/agitation in dementia, however if you use this drug, please put a proactive plan in place to 'prevent falling.' Nice discussion in Aspen and we even have a geriatrician in the audience. MDS
