1/5 Social media has blurred the line between professional journalists and everyday users. Speed often beats verification, deepfakes spread quickly, and the public struggles to know what’s credible—leading to privacy breaches and even legal trouble.

2/5 In our talk show on Digital Media Literacy, speakers stressed that while freedom of expression is guaranteed by the Constitution, it has clear boundaries. Importantly, RMC protections only apply to accredited journalists—not everyone who posts online.

4/5 ✅ Capacity building for journalists to prioritize ethics, fact-checking, and quality over clicks ✅Encouraging citizens to cross-check with trusted outlets before circulating news ✅Strengthening RMC’s role in handling complaints and ensuring accountability.
