BMA Students Joe Wilson 🩺 BMA Medical Academics I can see why this seems like progress but still pretty devastating for clinical academia, which thrives on getting experience in new places and bringing your experience to a new place. Indeed that's what the research world encourages. That's what it brought for me!

As ascertained by the literature, OGM has consistently demonstrated higher sensitivity towards tumours with HRD, and its applicability also includes the overall chromosomal characterization of gliomas. Glad that our narrative review was able to highlight this point!

Academics are paid nothing for peer review. Yet journals made a total of over $8.3 billion on article processing charges alone between 2019-2023. Make it make sense.

A recent study showed that morning coffee drinkers had a 12% lower risk of all-cause mortality and a 31% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease over a 10-year period. This benefit was specific to morning coffee drinkers, as no similar protective effects were observed

I don’t know what to say anymore. As doctors, we can’t stop a genocide and we can’t end a famine. We provided a diagnosis - genocide. We provided a prescription to end the genocide - for Canada to end its complicity and direct involvement in Israel’s crimes now.

The world will never be the same again. None of us will recover from the horror we have watched Israel enact for over 635 days. We will never forget a minute of it. That is a promise.
