Caught up with Team USA Olympic hopeful Freddie Crittenden III last week, who has a legitimate shot at punching his ticket to Paris in the men’s 110-meter hurdles. He has a personal best of 13.00, which is No. 25 all-time in the history of the sport. Crittenden is training in

Just awful. In my opinion federations have a responsibility to do everything possible to support and facilitate any and all athletes who qualify for Olympic Games or World Champs.

Three years ago, Freddie Crittenden nearly stepped away from track after failing to make the semifinals at the 2021 Olympic Trials and not making "any money" that year. He even kissed the track at Hayward Field afterward, saying what he thought would be his goodbye to the sport.
