Fantastic event with translator Mark Harman, exploring humour in Kafka's Selected Stories and how in every story “he’s creating a style for what he wants to say.” More events coming up in November: tinyurl.com/2ytcjvcp #oxfordkafka2024 #franzkafka

Feeling inspired after Barry Murnane's talk on how the "Kafka's Transformative Communities" project engages with the public and popularizes Kafka's work through exhibitions, workshops, podcasts, dance performances and collaborations with schools. Amazing! kafka-research.ox.ac.uk

Also loved the perspective - the goal is not primarily to popularize Kafka, but to think of ways that his work helps to talk about other issues, e.g. political discourses, mental illness, gender fluidity. @GRK2806
