Targeting individuals - especially women - because their analysis goes against popular narratives is disturbing. Kholood Khair has been an advocate for stability in Sudan for years. She was working in Khartoum and had to evacuate when the war broke out. This is not ok.

El Fasher is facing a deepening humanitarian crisis as siege and starvation grip the city. Residents line up in desperate queues for ambaz, a stark image of daily suffering. Charity kitchens and local initiatives struggle to help but cover less than 10% of city’s growing needs.
