ALL LOADS LEAD TO ROME... Final preparations are underway for the Schola Cantorum's trip to Rome. Flights are booked, accommodation is secured, music is rehearsed, and now the most important task... to clean the surplices! Special thanks to (Saint) Hugh Hillyard-Parker!

Today the Schola Cantorum had the privilege of singing in Rome for the diaconate ordinations of Matthew McCafferty and Kieran Burt, seminarians at the Pontifical Scots College, Rome. Congratulations Matthew and Kieran from all of us!

Schola Cantorum in Rome! Last weekend the Schola Cantorum travelled to Rome to sing for the diaconate ordinations at the Scots College, Rome Thank you again to all the supporters who enabled the trip. Here's just a small taste of what the singers got up to!

This time last Sunday the Schola Cantorum was in Rome rehearsing before Mass. Here is a snippet of James MacMillan’s “O Radiant Dawn”, sung in the stunning Church of Saints Dominic and Sixtus at the Angelicum. Thank you to @lawrenceop for the filming!

Congratulations to Archbishop Cushley, who celebrated his 40th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood at the 12pm Mass today. Warmest wishes and many thanks from everyone involved in the music at St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Edinburgh.

Archbishop Leo offered the "prayers and affection" of everyone in the Archdiocese when he met Pope Leo XIV in Rome this week.
