Also great to hear a British Society for Research on Ageing shoutout and thanks from the MyAge national research network for help with development and feedback

Thanks to MyAge national research network for the invitation to speak at the launch of their roadmap this morning. A really important culmination of 2 years of work and chimes with many of the key messages of The Physiological Society.

Prof Janet Lord explained: "Today has made it clear how much can be achieved if we work together to keep our muscles healthy. Doing this we can help people achieve a long healthy life."

Prof Carolyn Greig, co chair of MyAge national research network said: "We've got a lot from the MyAge Roadmap launch and all the work which has gone into it. We had great participation and stimulating discussion. Thanks so much to everyone who attended. "

Dr Kambiz Alavian from Imperial College London and the MyAge national research network Management Group said: "This is a very exciting time to be doing ageing research. We have many fantastic opportunities to make a difference in later life. We're ambitiously building capacity in the UK and abroad."

Spectacular drawing by Jonny Glover from MoreThanMinutes capturing the day's discussion at the MyAge national research network Roadmap launch.

MyAge national research network Paul Morgan A really enjoyable day and fantastic to see the outputs and roadmap produced by the MyAge national research network. The great news is thereās more to come in the next year!

Dr Pantall BAM Research Group said: "Muscle resilience is fundamental to important aspects of living well for longer. It was great to be part of the MyAge Roadmap launch. I shared our work to build research into practical solutions which might boost mobility."
