I thank the Hon’ble PMO India Shri Narendra Modi Ji, for convening the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog. It's a platform which serves as a catalyst for cooperative federalism and inclusive policy discourse across India.

On green energy, the Nagaland Solar Mission under PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana has been launched with added State subsidy of Rs. 50,000 for up to 3 kW. The aim is to achieve 32.8 MW capacity Rooftop Solar system, which is over 15% of total power consumption of the State.

On healthcare, the CM’s Health Insurance Scheme offers universal coverage to all citizens, including state govt. employees. The Scheme uses the PM-JAY Ayushman Bharat Portal of the NHA for implementation. Similarly, the CM’s Life Insurance Scheme covers about 4 lakh beneficiaries

To train & provide employment opportunities, the Nagaland Skill Mission, aims to equip 5,000 youth with skills in growth sectors like drone technology, hospitality, logistics, banking, & healthcare in the current FY. The private sector & entrepreneurs must lead in job creation.

On education, transformative reforms like EMRS, PM SHRI, & World Bank supported Light House Schools, are bringing sea changes esp. in govt. schools. Facial recognition based teacher attendance system is ensuring accountability & community-supported incentives are introduced.

The vision document of ‘Viksit Nagaland@2047’ is in progress. It will align with national dev. frameworks & regional aspirations, & also be a strategic roadmap for transitioning Nagaland into a peaceful, progressive & self-reliant State. We seek the Centre's continued support.
