As 2024 comes to a close, we're reflecting on the #NACWG's progress. We hosted an accountability event, a Circle event, and published our Phase Two report. Continuous engagement with Scottish Government has been crucial as we continue our work on the Third Focus on Scrutiny. #GenderEquality
Over the past two weeks, the NACWG held accountability sessions with Scottish Government to discuss the Third Focus of Scrutiny and examine the extent to which our recommendations on the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) and intersectional gender budgeting have been implemented.
This February, we will host our next Accountability Event, to raise awareness of our progress towards gender equality as we scrutinise the extent to which the Scottish Government has implemented our recommendations. Follow @nacwgscot to find out more. #GenerationEqual

Today, #NACWG Co-Chairs are meeting with First Minister to discuss the progress of Phase Two. This is an important opportunity to share the ongoing work of the NACWG and highlight the immediate action needed to tackle gender inequality and improve the lives of women and girls.
Today we are hosting our second Accountability Event where we'll be joined by Scottish Government officials to discuss any progress made and what more needs to be done. We'll highlight what the #NACWG is doing to hold those in power to account and heighten awareness around Phase Two work.
