NFHS reports new records for high school wrestling participation for girls & boys in 2024-25. Boys wrestling went over 300,000 participants for the first time. Girls wrestling had over 74,000 athletes.

NFHS sports participation numbers for 2024-25 are in: 🤼 Boys wrestling grew by +8,340 to 300,214 — topping 300k for the first time. 🤼‍♀️ Girls wrestling surged 15% to 74,000+, adding nearly 1,000 new programs. High school wrestling is booming.
