These storms are going to make life tough for people on the RV Oceanus working on the NASA S-MODE campaign-- 20-foot waves in the forecast







We're back out to sea on the Oceanus after repairs. First item on the to-do list: deploy four wavegliders. These autonomous instruments are packed full of sensors to better understand waves, eddies and jets in the upper ocean and how they interact w/ the atmosphere. NASA S-MODE
