BREAKING: Specialized Investigations Division detectives are working to identify the person who used fireworks to commit the arson of an MNPD SUV parked at an off-duty officer's home within the Hermitage Precinct tonight. No one hurt. Leads being pursued.

Madison Precinct Officer Nate Carroll received the Officer Paul Scurry Award for Officer of the Year today. Scurry was killed in the line of duty in 1996. Carroll has worked in Madison for a decade & was honored for his exemplary service. Scurry's daughter, Melanie, also attended
