Hi folks, we're hearing people attributing the smokiness around Chapel Hill and Durham to the prescribed burns in our habitat garden beds this afternoon and want to clarify that – given their (tiny!) size and the direction of the wind – this is almost certainly not the case!

Last Friday, Carolina Community Academy students and staff returned to #ChapelHill for a visit to the NC Botanical Garden! 🌳🌷Students explored nature by hiking the garden’s trails, spotting a variety of native plants and flowers, and learning more about North Carolina’s unique ecosystems.
