After Newcastle Green Party met with Food & Solidarity to draft a motion opposing the cruel two-child benefit cap and NRPF*, I proposed it to Newcastle City Council today, seconded by Newcastle Independent Tracey Ann Mitchell. It passed. Unamended. A cross-party stand against the government on poverty.
