We just added the first REH conversion to our closures website. (bit.ly/ruralclosures) We know there are more but are refining our confirmation process so that we can apply consistently moving forward. We expect to update with more next week.

Subtle change to our closure website: the default map now loads on a map showing REHs as orange dots. By clicking on the orange bar, the user can see where the REHs are. bit.ly/ruralclosures

The REH model “is not designed to replace existing, well-functioning rural hospitals,” said George Pink. “It really is targeted at small rural communities that are at imminent risk of a hospital closing.” ow.ly/axAK50Txva9 @NCRural #ruralhealth
