Please join the Notre Dame community tomorrow, September 13, at 5:15 p.m. in the Notre Dame Basilica to celebrate Mass in memory of Ph.D. Student Gabriella (Bella) Tyler. Our deepest condolences and prayers remain with Gabriella’s family and friends during this difficult time.

We mourn the passing of James (Jake) Blaauboer, a sophomore and military veteran of the U.S. Army. Our prayers are with Jake’s family, friends, and all those impacted by his death. A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Wednesday at 5:15 pm at the Notre Dame Basilica.

The Division of Student Affairs is coordinating pastoral support to Jake’s family and students who may be impacted by his death. The University Counseling Center and Campus Ministry are both available to offer their support to members of our community.
