The PCM girls track and field team was 2nd tonight at the HOIAC meet. Scored 122 points. Lila Milani won the 800 in a career-best 2:22.78. That's 12th in 2A. She also helped PCM finish 2nd in the 4x800 and win the 4x400.

The PCM girls 4x400 team of Katelynn Fagg-Lexi Fagg-Milani-Jorja Teeter won the race in 4:15.3. Season-best by 4 seconds. The 4x800 relay team of Abi Teeter-Darbey DeRaad-Bailey Wheeler and Milani finished 2nd in 10:14.59. Season best and 12th in 2A. #iahstrk

PCM's boys track and field won the HOIAC title on Thursday. Scored 159 points. Riley Graber (49.22) won the 400, Kash Fischer (career-best 4:40.17) won the 1600 and Gavin Van Gorp (15.32) won the 110 high hurdles. PCM also won the sprint medley, shuttle hurdle and 4x400 relays.

The Mustangs went 1:33.65 in the sprint medley relay. That's a school record and ranks first in Class 2A. Foursome was Evan Jones, Adrien Robbins, Tad Wilson and Riley Graber. #iahstrk

The Baxter girls track team placed 3rd in the ISC meet. Avery Wonders (5-0) won the HJ, Camryn Russell (16.1) won the 100 hurdles and the Bolts were 2nd in the shuttle hurdle relay in a school-record 1:11.17. That foursome was Kamdyn Krampe-Rossi Swihart-Grace Anderegg-Russell.

The Baxter boys track and field won the ISC meet for the 2nd straight season. The Bolts won the 4x800 relay. Carter Smith won the discus with a career-best 151-1, which is 10th in Class 1A. #iahstrk

Matt Richardson and Max Handorf went 1-2 in the 1,600 and 3,200 and 2-3 in the 800. Richardson set new school record and ISC record in the 1,600 in 4:26.73. Handorf also broke previous ISC record in 2nd in 4:27.56. Those times are 3-4 in Class 1A.

An update on Colfax-Mingo girls soccer. The Tigerhawks are 9-1-3 this season. They won all three of their matches 10-0 last week. Meadow Lane is up to 42 goals and 10 assists this spring. That's 2nd-most goals in 1A and it's tied for 11th in assists. #iahssoc

Newton sophomore Jackson Price took advantage of his home course today. Shoots a career best 68 and is now leading the LHC standings with only one golfer still alive to better him. He trail by 6 strokes before the day began but a big PR vaults him to the clubhouse lead. #iahsgolf
