Meet the #Squirrelfish 🐿️🐠—named for its big squirrel-like eyes that help it see in the dark. At up to 20in long, they’re a similar size to many actual squirrels. These nocturnal reef dwellers communicate using sounds from their swim bladder. Find them in our #GiantOceanTank!

Today marks 55 years of Myrtle at the Aquarium! 🥳🤩 Myrtle the green sea turtle—and the reigning queen of our #GiantOceanTank—arrived at the Aquarium June 12, 1970. She’s been a fixture for visitors ever since, making her an ambassador for green sea turtles everywhere!
