Meet the #Squirrelfish 🐿️🐠—named for its big squirrel-like eyes that help it see in the dark. At up to 20in long, they’re a similar size to many actual squirrels. These nocturnal reef dwellers communicate using sounds from their swim bladder. Find them in our #GiantOceanTank!

Octopuses are so cool. 🤩 (Yes, octopuses, not octopi!) Over 2,000 suckers, blue blood, the ability to camouflage, nine brains, and three hearts... what a marvelous animal! What is your favorite fact about the giant Pacific octopus? #OctopusFacts #OctopusesRule

🌈🐠The rainbow runner is now one of the largest fish in our Giant Ocean Tank exhibit—after arriving as just a five-inch youngster in 2014. The fish isn’t *technically* rainbow-colored, but its bold blue and gold stripes earn it the name. #RainbowRunner #FishFacts

Turtle enrichment, but make it cool! 🐢❄️ Check out one of our rescued sea turtles working on a frozen treat—a block of ice filled with lettuce. This challenge isn’t just a snack; it’s enrichment. It gets their brains working, keeps them active, and encourages problem-solving!
