In today’s Work & Pensions Committee evidence session, our Director of Policy Peter Smith stresses the importance of direct energy bill support to ensure pensioners can keep warm in their homes.

Our Director of Policy Peter tells Work & Pensions Committee about the heartbreaking case of someone from our Lived Experience Library who missed out on accessing Pension Credit and, therefore, the Winter Fuel Payment because their income was just £2.50 over the threshold.

Our Director of Policy Peter highlights in today’s Work & Pensions Committee session the plight of prepayment meter customers not being able to use their heating until they pay off debts accrued by standing charges.
