The Wasp spider, Argiope bruennichi is normally found in the south of England, but is slowly spreading north. 🕷️ The most interesting thing is the strange zigzag shapes that run down the middle of their web, called the 'stabilimentum'. #spiders #waspspider #insects #bugs

We had a lovely team day Brandon Country Park 🏞️ We learnt more about #air quality issues affecting the Brecks🌲 And even with fighter jets serenading us from above, we still managed to spot a fly agaric, violet ground beetle & some tell-tale signs of long-eared #bats 🦇

We welcomed Norfolk County Council Suffolk CC LNRS teams who've finalised their Local Nature Recovery Strategies for #Norfolk #Suffolk after public consultation 📝 We were impressed with their work & happy to agree progression to publication! 💻 Congrats to all involved! 💚

We had a very interesting meeting Clive Lewis MP🌹 We chatted about everything from the Wendling Beck nature recovery project, to Green Social Prescribing & the recreational management strategy for #Norfolk 🥾 We can't wait to get Clive out on site to see our work in action 🌱
